To my Valentine

And the rope has been tugged
Its been worn down over the year
Finally broken, the last strand I cut

To feel the rope loose, my short part in hand
Looking across, envious at how much more rope you have
I had to turn away

If we're meant to be connected
the rope will find away
It'll find a way to tie a large knot
The rope won't be as long as it once was
It'll be shorter
And we will be closer
